Boca Royale is a short drive to Manasota Key. After a stop in a beach shop in Englewood to ask about the best shark tooth spots, we discovered our favorite beach, Blind Pass. Known to locals as “Middle Beach” because it is basically the midway point of Manasota Key. Boca Royale in Englewood has some older homes that I am partial to, and some new construction areas as well. Neal is currently the builder in the community and took on the task of rebuilding the clubhouse as well. There’s a new sign at the south end of the community “Boca Royale at Wellen Park.” Hmmmmm. It is a golf community where golf club membership is not mandatory, but social membership is included with the HOA dues. It is easy on off Route 41 with an entrance on 776. So getting up to Sarasota or down to Boca Grande any day of the week is simple. Great local shopping areas like Dearborn Street full artsy places of and restaurants like Mango Bistro and Blue Tequila leave you with the feeling, now this is what we came to Florida for! If you are looking for an home in an established community close to beaches and shopping with the option of joining a golf and country club this place immediately comes to mind.
