The Inlets in Nokomis is a gated community with an entrance on 41- that you may miss as you are driving around. Once inside the gates you will find a clubhouse with a huge heated pool, pickleball and tennis courts, and a gym. Very friendly staff inside to tell you all about the various social activities that never end within this active community. Some homes are on canals that reach to the bay (under a bridge in part of the community) and still have to pass under a bridge (Albee Road W) before getting out to the intracoastal. Bimini tops are in order. This community stayed high and dry during the hurricanes of 2024! There are carriage house condominiums and single family homes from small to mid size. Mediterranean style with tile roofs abound. You will find some good projects for home renovators and some beautifully renovated homes as well. I have to say the vibe in here is rich with sense of community and good times. Whether it is group boating activities or group social activities, there are many opportunities to get out there and have fun with your neighbors. Plus, for beach lovers, the back gate for residents only, is like the secret entrance making biking or golf cart riding to the beach a thing. Close to some fun restaurants like Pop’s The Paradise Grill, Pelican Alley, a new Italian place called Bella Rimini just opened near the main entrance. Your closest Publix is also accessible from the back gate to Laurel Road, so you never even have to get on the main roads here. Many people use street legal golf carts all the time. Condos as low as the 200’s to homes over 1 million depending on updates.
